Never mind the poor punctuation; it takes poor judgement to post that kind of insult on an editor’s blog. It’s not that my posts are all error free. They’re not, and I have no delusions that I can see my own errors any more than other writers can see theirs. That’s why we need another set of eyes.
I guess the poster hoped I would click the link out of anger or indignation. I didn’t, and nobody else will either. Blogger didn’t post the comment, and as usual, I deleted it from my email. The only reason I’m publishing this notice is that maybe it will attract more anonymous spammers who will go to great lengths to try and get their comment published and get people to click the link. Dream on. Better yet, find an honest way to make a living.
I suppose I’ll get a rash of anonymous comments following this post. Yawn. So I might have to change my settings to allow comments from Google users only. Worst case, I’ll set comments to registered blog users only. Either way, no biggie. I’m moving to WordPress soon. Go ahead. Try to post a spam comment at sherahart.net. While you’re at it, insult the blog design I haven’t finished.
Say, any of you anonymous people know a good responsive WordPress designer? No? Well, maybe my real readers do. I can tell those because they’re here for the books! For book lovers, I’m always happy to post comments. You know who you are, and I’m just as happy you’re here even if you don’t comment. Thanks for visiting!
Hi Sher, I love your blog so don’t let the haters get you down. I just seen an incorrect word in a New York Times article and the comments were all over it so it happens to everyone. Hope all is well, bill
It never ceases to amaze me the way people will waste their time being negative and hurtful to others. If we could see all of our own errors there were never be the profession of editor. LOL I can’t say how many times I see the error just after I hit send, please don’t judge me 😉 I am glad there is a provision for these comments to not be posted. You are lovely, this site is beautiful, and while I may not always comment, I do enjoy visiting and checking out what is going on.
