Hello, dear book lovers, Sher here with a book or two or ten. My chosen author had a family emergency so I decided to get rid of some of my own books. So as not to leave out my international readers, one winner will receive as many ebooks or books as I can ship or deliver digitally for $10 or less via Amazon or Book Depository. If you’re in the US, you can choose a box of my used books if you prefer. I don’t count the cost of the books, just shipping, so you might get five to ten by media mail.
Thanks to Kathy at I Am A Reader and Books à la Mode for hosting this hop.
If you are a writer and would rather receive a free proofread, up to 50 pages, and $10/50 pages thereafter, please say so in your comment and I’ll be happy to substitute. Authors have told me I find way more errors than the editor they hired. I’ve trained my brain not to fill in the missing words or to correct typos. I know all the rules, and I have a Chicago Manual of Style for everything else.
For US entrants, my stock of used books is shown below. You may choose from these plus a bunch of others not pictured. I just keep buying. Please note: below each picture block there’s a note saying if a book is gone. The vast majority are still available.
The Anybodies is gone.
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and Masquerade are both gone.
Catch as Cat Can is gone. I have a couple other cat detective books though.
Hart’s Hope, Speaker for the Dead, and Xenocide are gone.
Here’s a hardback for size comparison to trade paperbacks.
The middle two paperbacks by Terry Goodkind are gone but I have a new hardback in the same series, Faith of the Fallen, below.
Both of these are large hardbacks.
Now for some guy books we ended up with, not all mine so don’t ask me if I liked them. Some were my sons’ books, and who knows where the rest came from?
Both hardbacks. Kiln People is an inch taller and twice as thick as Prince of the Blood.
That’s most of my lower alphabet books (written for adults). I have many upper alphabet authors including a large full box of Andre Norton and half a box of Anne McCaffrey. Please ask for other upper alphabet authors and books for teens. I have a large stash of those too but didn’t take pictures. I get an E for effort. Whew! I’m very grateful for your support.
Please also note that we are not responsible for any loss or damage in transit because we have no control once the books are mailed. If they get lost along the way like one shipment did, I will start a trace. If the books aren’t found, I will send you the postage amount when the post office gives me a refund. If you’d like insurance, you may send the extra amount via paypal.
Now for the Rafflecopter. The mandatory entry is a comment using your blog follower ID to tell me where you’re from and which option you want if you’re the winner. I won’t hold you to this; I just want to get an idea of tastes. And I wonder if offering proofreading or editing service as a prize is of interest to more than a few readers.
Options (First 3 have $10 limit as previously explained):
1. ebook(s) from Amazon
2. real book(s) to be shipped from Amazon or Book Depository
3. my used books (US only). Saying which ones you like will save time if you win.
