Rise of the Fire Tamer by Kailin Gow Giveaway Blast

Sher A Hart here with a book blast and giveaway kicking off the blog tour for Rise of the Fire Tamer by Kailin Gow. Thanks to Kathy at I Am A Reader Not A Writer for hosting the tour. I really enjoyed this book and will post my review this Saturday, 12 Jan 2013, so I hope you come back then.
Before the blast, you might want to enter the YA Faeries & Fantasy Giveaway Hop with both US and International prizes. Also, if you’re an author of children’s books (from picture books up through YA) who doesn’t have a blog, or if you’re a reader who wants to share book reviews on our blog, please contact Paul or me. We provide free training and free books to review here. In return, we ask for a six month commitment. After that you can stay with us or start your own blog.
Any children’s book author can get a free promotion here anytime (see the author hosting tab up top), but there’s another great opportunity waiting for authors of middle grade books through the All About Middle Grade Challenge 2013. The link will open a new tab so you won’t lose your place here. What else have you got to lose but a little time? And time spent promoting your book(s) now will pay in sales later.
Now on to the book blast!

Rise of the Fire Tamer by Kailin Gow

After winning a contest for a popular game called Wordwick Games, five teens Gemma, Sparks, Rio, Kat, and Jack, are invited to stay at Wordwick Games inventor Henry Word’s mysterious castle and play the newest level of Workwick Games. Little do they know, the castle is the doorway to a wondrous world call Anachronia where words can be used as weapons, power, and commodity. There is unrest in Anachronia, and if the five teens can follow the rules of Wordwick Games and prove to be the best player, one of them will be crowned Ruler of Anachronia.
