Hi, all, it’s Sher here with a book review by Jenny Wirt, one of my friends from church. I’m happy we have so many book lovers in Crestview, Florida, and I’m taking full advantage of their love to reading to keep my TBR pile from crushing me. Jenny’s in a book club, and I have yet to make a meeting, but I’ll get there sometime. Maybe when I can walk through my house without stepping in sheet-rock dust.
Minutes Before Sunset by Shannon A. Thompson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Refreshingly lesser-known fantasy creatures called Shades hide in plain sight by posing as humans. The double story lines of their shade lives and their human lives were entertaining to follow. Just enough romance mixed with danger to make me look forward to the next book in the trilogy.
