Yes, you heard right, it’s Lionel here. Sher and Paul have been hard at it and they asked if I would write this post. Of course I said yes. As you know, I’ve been pretty busy lately with all that I’ve had going on, but it’s the time of year to be thankful. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of you, our (well their) readers. So I get the pleasure of announcing the kickoff of the Gratitude Giveaways Hop. This is a hop to thank you, our readers and followers, so there’s only one task required for a chance to win these great prizes.

 I probably don’t have the authority for this, but I’m gonna do it anyway. Do me a favor and leave me a comment telling me either your favorite Thanksgiving dessert or at least the one that is a tradition and you can count on no matter what. My traditional dessert is mince pie. It’s funny ’cause only  two people like it, but Mom has to make it every year. Oh, and my favorite is cherry cobbler.

    • Hi Sharon. I”m with you, Pecan Pie! My wife made a recipe called Crack Pie. She heard about it from Anderson Cooper on TV. It tastes like the filling of Pecan Pie! You want to talk about bad for you:) I recommend trying it at least once though. Thanks for sharing and stopping by.

  6. My grandma always made peanut butter pie…So delicious, sadly she passed away so there is no one left to make it, so I will probably have to settle for pumpkin

  13. I love my mother’s Cranberry Fudge. It’s super rich and delicious- I’ve tried to make it myself before and just ended up with a pan of sludge.
