Lionel and the Golden Rule is nominated for BigAl’s Books and Pals 2015 #Kidsbooks Readers’ Choice Award

Hello, everyone! It’s Paul here today with some exciting news. My children’s book, Lionel’s Grand Adventure: Lionel and the Golden Rule has been nominated by BigAl’s Books and Pals for their 2015 Readers’ Choice Award in the children/middle grade category. This is my first nomination so it is pretty exciting. I was thrilled to see BigAl’s review of Lionel and the Golden Rule back in December (which you can read here), and I’m even more thrilled with the nomination.

If you have read the book, and are so inclined, please head on over to BigAl’s Books and Pals to vote for Lionel and the Golden Rule. Voting will last through midnight (Mountain time) on 28 March, so head on over now! I want to thank each and every one of our readers for your support and kind words through my writing journey. I am preparing to earn my Bachelor’s degree in May, and after I do, I will be back writing more on the blog.

After conducting a survey on my newsletter (sign up here) I have uploaded a new cover to the ebook version of Lionel and the Golden Rule. The artwork and design was created by Daniela Frongia at Cais Arts Illustration Studio. Daniela also created the interior illustrations for the book. If you are an author in need of some wonderful illustrations for you work at a very reasonable price, I urge you to contact Daniela. Tell her Paul sent you! If you want to learn more about me, Lionel’s Grand Adventure, or anything writing related feel free to head on over to my website here.

  1. Congratulations, Paul. I’m glad to see Lionel finally getting his due. How goes the current book?

    • Thanks, Ken. It’s kind of fun! The next book is moving along well. Sher finished editing it, and now it is in my illustrator’s hands. Once school is done I should have time for a proper release. How about you? How’s your writing coming along? Anything for me to read?
