Today I wrote the words for a hymn,
Also the notes, and my brain grew dim.
Now it seems the rhyme won’t stop
I could write ad-verse ’til I drop!
Kathy, (see the button) has a weekly blog hop,
But at 500 followers, this giveaway will stop
Books I collected through the years
have overflowed, coming out my ears!
Whenever I write a free book rhyme,
You know it must be clean out time.
Today I’m glad to show through G.
Don’t get “Feist”y if you win a box of books,
Or eat enough chocolate to change your looks,
Although there’s plenty of both in store.
Meghan Page won last, but I have lots more.
Alan Dean Foster is a Sci-fi whiz,
His Pip and Flix team are best in the biz.
The Spellsinger books that Foster wrote
Make musical magic, note by note!
Yes, reunions are in store;
plus, I have a few more.
plus, I have a few more.
I’m not quite done with every F name,
so here are six more, if you’re still game.
Finally, that bring us up to G.
Imagine, all these Gardners for free!
Don’t get too catty
if you meet the Ghatti.
if you meet the Ghatti.
Each Stone of Tears is a heavy read,
Thick as thieves: the Good-kind indeed.
And now it’s time for the final two,
which I’d like to read, so wait ’til I’m through.
This poem must end, like every book,
but come back later for another look!
And now it’s Rafflecopter time;
do each entry and your chances will climb!
One final thing before you go,
I have another contest, you know.
The books and chocolate tab up top
Could keep you supplied until you pop!
I have another contest, you know.

I do not recognise the song but then this is normal as I kinda live in my own little music world and don’t tend to go outside my music bubble.
Netherlands.
I’m a bigger fan of fantasy than sci-fi, but I’m very tempted by Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game books.

Didn’t recognize it, but love the rhyme, oh so fun! I was a fan of Alan Dean Foster’s Spellsinger series a long time ago. There are some great oldies in there!
I saw the pick of the Flinx and Pip series on your G+ and just had to stop by. I love that series. I started it when I was a young teen and it has remained a favorite all these years.
No, didn’t recognize the song but it did sound familiar.
USA
I have so many on my wish list I will have to decide should I win.
I like the 3 Ghatti Tales with the cats on covers on your post. I have 4 cats so I like all cat things. lol
