Hi there everyone! Paul here, and I’m so excited to bring you the Dogschwitz Book Blast by Kim Cano and hosted by Book Nerd Tours. This book sound great! I am a HUGE dog lover as those of you that follow me know. I rescued and adopted a “senior” dog named Jojo, and am an advocate of no-kill animal shelters. This book is definitely on my “to-read” list. It’s also cool that Ms. Cano is from the Chicago land area. I’m not quite that close to Chicago, but I live close enough to go to a few White Sox games every summer.  Well, let’s get on with the blast shall we?

When a basset hound named Rory survives the animal control gas chamber and becomes an internet celebrity, he attracts the attention of Anita, a just-dumped-by-her-boyfriend, luckless burger flipper, who travels cross country to adopt him.

Spurred by an online group called Animal Warriors, Anita then embarks on a mission to improve animal rights. Along the way, Rory brings Anita true love and financial success through a chance encounter with America’s 1%, proving her spontaneous rescue of Rory was the best decision of her life.
